I have an Acer Aspire 5742 laptop with an i3 370m cpu.

CPU-Z says the socket is rPGA989 while Aida 64 says it is rPGA988. What do I have? I am thinking to upgrade to an i5 560m cpu.

What about this table from the manual? Although the manual does include other flavours of the 5742 like the Z, G and ZG. I know that the 5742G and the 5742 use the same exct BIOS and socket....
