XC 605, I can not see screen after bios upgrade

I have a XC 605. I tried several times upgrading to windows 10. Didn't work, after the installation of windows 10 and the restarting the system quits and returns in the win 8.1. I thought it was a bios problem, so I flashed bios with the latest on the Acer website (I saw this was updated July this year). Now the system starts with a beep, but I can not get any screen (not via HDMI nor VGA). Any advise what can be done?

I would try a CMOS reset but the CMOS battery is just under the DVD/HDD assembly, so not really easy to access.

you need to unplug the AC power cable, open the left side of the case panel, remove the front panel, remove the DVD/HDD assembly, take off the CMOS battery, CR2032 button battery, press the power button twice, wait 5 minutes and then put back CMOS battery and the other things you took off.

plug the AC power cable and try to boot.

Thanks for suggestion. I tried to reset the bios, both via i) battery removal and ii) using the CMOS clear pins. Unfortunately did not work.

    which version do you flashed?

have you tried to boot without the monitor connected and then connect it after the beeps?

the HDD LED blinks as it was loading the OS?

    Try this:

format an USB flash drive to FAT32 (the USB flash drive need to be empty)

copy the BIOS file from the ROM directory to the USB flash drive

rename the BIOS file to:  RCVBOOT.CAP (please be sure to have file extension visible, your original BIOS file name must be P11-B4.4M)

pllug the USB on your desktop, press power button, if system is still working it will appear a recovery flash bios screen.

NVRAM and Main block must be enable, select Proceed with flash update and press enter.

wait until it finish, then press any key to reboot and unplug the USB flash drive.
