I own an Acer Iconia A500. It is in need of repair.

I own an Iconia A500.   It is in need of repair.  It was accidentally dropped on a hard floor.  It landed on the corner where the power button and other controls are located and the damage is more than cosmetic as the controls are no longer functionable.

I realize that the device is not under warranty, but I would consider paying for the repair instead of replacing the device (depending on the cost of repair).

I am not able to get information about this on the Acer website.  Is there another place I can turn for this to get more information?

I have been pleased with the device and it has functioned well.  I hate to just "brick" the tablet over this.

You would need to contact the Acer service center in your region to inquire about out of warranty service. If you are in the US or Canada, you can send me a private message with your name and telephone number, and I will have someone contact you regarding repair.
