V3-471G USB Port draining power supply when system is switch off

Hi there,

I have a V3-471G laptop and I discover that even when the system is switch off and not plug in the main the USB port on the left side of the laptop is draining the battery power when a USB device is plugged into it; like the doggler or external cooling panel, etc.

Wonder has anyone with this laptop encounter the same problem? Is there any solution to rectify this?

Dennis

The ports on that system are USB 2.0 and are not designed to provide powered off support for USB devices.

If connecting an external USB device is draining battery power, you should probably contact service to have it looked at.

We would suggest contacting technical support in your region for further assistance with this issue.
