Aspire E1-522 Windows 10 drivers

Does anyone know when the E1-522 Windows 10 drivers will become available? The Acer website just says to get the Windows 10 drivers from their support site but it only has Windows 7 x64, Windows 8 x64, and Windows 8.1 x64. It's out of warranty so I can't even contact Acer regarding this without getting charged.

    sribe,

No reason to pay something for nothing. We are still in the process of uploading all the drivers on the eligible model list, please be patient and keep checking. Smiley Happy

If it helps, I have upgraded two units here that weren't even on the eligible model list and did not have to download any drivers from the Acer site, there wasn't a need.

    Thanks Justin,

I wouldn't have asked if I hadn't already tried. I upgrade my laptop to 10 and had no compatible network drivers (ethernet or wifi) which makes it kind of hard to do nearly anything. I rolled back to 8.1 for now and when the drivers become available I'll upgrade.

    Thanks for the help!

Have you seen the new drivers yet? I'm in the same boat ...

    Kimberley3,

There are no drivers posted at this time, but I have continually received information that the Windows Update process resolves most driver problems.

Well, I think the key word in that sentence is "most" drivers.

I do the updates regularly and the webcam still doesn't work. Windows10 isn't even seeing it.

I still get the "Sorry. There seems to be a problem." error message.
