There was a topic about W510 being not compatible with Windows 10 due to Intel Graphics accilator. People were asking for help. Now the topic seems to be missing. Was it deleted and why?

EDIT. My bad. It was in different section. It's important to have info here too. But check it out: http://community.acer.com/t5/Windows-10/Iconia-W510-not-compatible-with-Windows-10/m-p/372120#M85

Was your Windows 10 activated automatically after upgrading from the 'media creation tool'?

Yes its activated... But when i tried fresh install of win 10, it didnt get activated. So i did win 8.1 install using this method

W510 is totally compatible with Windows 10. I updated to 8.1 via windows store, then the Windows 10 icon showed up on the tool bar. Then just reserved my copy and installed when they informed me. No tricks, no nothing. Organically installed.

Tip. When I was on windows 8, I did the acer live update then I updatd the BIOS. For the BIOS  I had to go to Acer website and download the package. Then everything naturally updated.

I got issues with my W510 because of the graphic driver but I found in the meantime a solution for my problems, I described it on this thread.

There is maybe light on the horizon:

In this thread I mentioned that build 14926 could improve its compatibility.

We fixed an issue where Windows icons and text are not rendered correctly on some devices with Intel Atom (Clovertrail) processors.

My W510 is running Win 10 14393 just fine. Did have to reload Office tafter update though. Usually run in dock.

Windows 10 runs 14393 just fine, but Edge still has several lost icons and quite often tabs as well. Every now and then it works and displays all icons and tabs, but that is the exception rather than the normal state.

I have noticed the same. Edge has issues but Windows is fine. Weird!

I do not use Edge, have made the default browser IE 11. Can also try Firefox or Chrome.
