Synaptics touchpad scrolling not working.
I have a acer aspire 5750g, I upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 today and everything works fine, expect that the scrolling feature on the touch pad isn't working. Is there any fix to this?

I'm dealing with the same thing. I chatted with acer tech support and they shluffed it off and said it's a windows problem not an acer issue. Does anyone out there have a solution?

This model is not listed as an eligible model so drivers will not be loaded and the upgrade to Windows 10 would be supported by Microsoft, not Acer. You can contact the Microsoft Answer Desk for assistance, maybe uninstalling the driver and reinstall would fix it.

I've found that on my machine I can now scroll with two fingers instead of one. Also, it has reversed itself as scrolling down is now up and up is down. I don't know how to correct these two issues (using one finger over two and reverse scrolling) and it'll take some getting used to, but I guess it's better than nothing...

If you are having touch pad issues after the upgrade, remove the installed drivers and let Windows 10 install them.

I don't know how to do that. Do you have a step by step on how to uninstall and then have Windows 10 re-install?

dkhomes,
Open the Device Manager, click the > sign next to mice and other pointing devices, right click on the driver, choose uninstall. At the top of the window you will see a small computer with a magnifying glass on it, click that and it will scan for devices and install.
