Acer Liquid E2 DUO; need to re-enter pincode / unlock SIM's occasionally

Hello,

I'm using a  Acer Liquid E2 DUO. Several times a week (sometimes just once a week, other weeks a couple of times a day) I need to re-enter the pincodes of both SIM's to unlock them. The phone doesn't reset completely but it looks like a partially reset of some kind.

Anyone any idea what I can do about it?

i heard about this issue, long time ago and it was related to phone modem resetting.

 

is your E2 updated with the latest available OTA/update?

 

have you already tried a factory reset?

thanks for your response. my E2 is updated with the latest OTA/update. I didn't try a factory reset yet, thanks for the suggestion, I'm go to try that.

oh....give a cleant to your SIMs too, 99% is not a SIM issue....but worth a try (soft cloth, nothing else)

Hi,

When I tried to make a backup of the Micro SD (before re-installing) I noticed that de micro SD was corrupt.

I bought a new one en re-installed the Telephone yesterday.

so far so good... I hope it stays this way.
