Can my Aspire V5-571 take a 9.5mm hard drive?

So I bought myself a new dual SSD/HDD drive to replace my existing HDD and it's only now that I have realised there is a possibility that it may not fit!

It was a rookie mistake I know but I didn't think! I know at the moment it has a 7mm drive in but I have seen some videos/step-by-step guides online that seem to suggest they are using a 9.5mm.

Does anyone know if i can use this and if not can I get an adaptor for my optical drive and run it from there or with this hinder the SSD too much?

If your drive is currently a 7 mm drive, hopefully it has a spacer that you can remove...and the new drive will fit.
