There isn't a CD with drivers in the box?

has a cd but just owners manual and acrobat..no drivers. There are no drivers at Acer site as well for that model

I don't think there is really "drivers" for monitors with windows 8.1. There might be an .inf file with some monitors but they are useless anyway.

To calibrate your monitor the way you want, just google "how to calibrate monitor with windows 8.1".

Or there should be a menu button on your monitor where you can adjust color saturation...etc...

They probably also have different profiles/modes in the menu on the monitor.

If you get it all messed up, you can hit the reset in the monitor menu to put it back to defaults and start over.

    Hi Guys,

Just to confirm, a monitor driver would only provide the PC with a name for the device instead of "Generic PNP Monitor". All of the color controls are done through the menu of the monitor itself and everything else is controlled by the PC.

Thanks to all who responded.  I manually set the colours and all is o.k. now.  I was used to the Samsung 17" I had.

I know this reply is after the fact, but it might help someone. I just needed to point out some problems with the Acer Website. NOT ALL OF THE DRIVER LINKS ON THE WEBSITE APPEAR TO BE POINTING TO THE PROPER DRIVERS!! I actually found this G226HQL driver by going and downloading the driver for the K192HQL driver. When you unzip the files for the download, they are actually for this G226HQL monitor in your post. The link is wrong.

I wanted to know what driver I would find when I clicked on K192HQL because when I click on the driver that I am looking for (K272HL) I get the wrong driver. Acer needs to double check its links. I still can't find the driver I am looking for.
