Hi,

I'm having a little trouble charging the battery.  Before this problem every time i plugged it into the socket it gave me the "red / orange" lit of charging...  Now it gives it only for a few seconds, then turn back to blue.

BatteryInfo says "Discharging, AC Power" . If I disconnect it from the AC Power and then connect it again will charge only for three or four seconds. I tried to charge it without the keyboard plugged, but same results.

Also, with computer turned off dosen't charge.

I think I have all the updates to date.

    Any idea?

     Thank you so much.

    DavinciWhite,

A blue light signifies that the battery is fully charged.

An amber light signifies that the battery is charging.

If the system is powered off with the charging adapter plugged in and there are no light lighting up that could be a couple things:

    • Is the connection snug when plugged in, or loose?
    • Do you have another charging adapter you can test with, the adapter could be defective? Contact Acer technical support in your area and see if you can get the charging adapter replaced.
