Getting 'Operating system not found' message and can't enter bios with f2

I've had this problem a year ago and i solved it with booting into bios with f2 and changing some settings from there.

now though, i can't access bios with f2.. not even with any other key. The laptop only responds when i press ctrl+alt+del, it restarts but the problem is still there.

What happened was, i was watching a movie on the laptop and then the battery ran out and so the laptop got turned off. Because the power was shut down, i didn't get to charge it and turn it back on once it turned off.

So, after 5 hours or more, the power came back. I pluged the charger into the laptop and turned it back on. Then, the 'operating system not found' message  came.

This problem happened because the laptop shut down with the movie cd still in the laptop, and now the laptop is searching for the operating system in the cd instead of looking for it in the hard disk.

i removed the cd and tried to turn the laptop back on but still, nothing changed.

Searching about the problem online, i found that the hard disk might have been disconnected or moved from it's place. I checked it though and there was no problem from its part.

what can i do to solve this?

The least i want is to take it to store to get it fixed.

Which V5 model is this you are referring to? Here is something to try, perform a power reset, see if that will help you get a splash screen to boot into the BIOS. If so, reset to defaults (F9), save and exit and see if it boots up.
