Please let me know what is the easiest way to transfer photos from Samsung note2 to iconia tab 10 ?

I bought my mum anew icnoia tab 10, I need help in getting the easiest way to teach her to transfer photo from her Samsung note 2 cellphone to iconia tab 10, she needs the offline method either via micros sd .

I bought a miccro sd card Scan Disk brand 16 g but iconia table can recognise but not allowed me to transfer anything. I am new to Android so any advice is appreciated. I would like a recommendation for easiest way for my 68 yrs old mum. She does not have high speed internet so off line method is best.

1) put the microSD to the Note2

2) use the default file manager or download one from Google Play (my choice: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop )

3) navigate to the Note2 internal memory and select/copy the DCIM folder to the microSD

4) once done, take off the microSD from the Note2, put the microSD to the Iconia tab

5) open the gallery applicaiton and your mom will find all her pictures from the note2
