Aspire V5 122p so slow it's unusable

Hi

 

I sadly own what must be the slowest of laptops ever made

 

It's been ridiculously slow since new, despite deleting just about everything on it nothing, but nothing can make this thing speed up.

 

It looks like there are many other poor people that have been dupped into buying this like me.

 

I bought it because the screen resolution was very good and that would be nice for my photography.

 

Does anyone know if it is at all possible to do something that would actually make this machine "usable " with regards to a simple thing like opening a webpage quicker than 5 minutes !!??

 

If anyone suffers like me and has to resort to using their phone to look at webpages or post something on Facebook (for example) please post a reply, I think ACER need to recall all these machines and upgrade them FOC.

Sorry to hear that you are not having the best possible experience with your notebook.

 

This notebook is one of our smaller series notebooks (11.6") that is designed for low power usage and long battery life, not performance. It should come with 2 GB of onboard memory and has the capacity to upgrade to a maximum of 6 GB using one 4 GB stick of DDR3L 1333/1066 memory; that would definitely be the best place to start for any performance issues.
