Acer Desktop ATC-605-UB12 Wireless Card Wifi Issues

Hello, I bought the acer desktop model  ATC-605-UB12 a few days ago. It comes with a built in wireless card and connects to my wifi no problem. but after its connected and being used for 5-10 mintues my wifi speed drops to 0. Still shows its connected with full bars but no wifi speed at all. All my other devices connected to my netgear router work perfect during all this. I contacted acer and they had me reinstall the network adapter drivers and still had the same issue. I went back to best buy and exchanged it for another and i'm still having the same issue. Any help woukld be greatly appreciated thanks guys!

When you look in device manager on your computer, do you have the Qualcomm/Atheros wireless adapter or do you have the Realtek wireless adapter?

 

Does your Netgear wireless router have the latest firmware from Netgear's website?

 

Have you tried resetting the Netgear wireless router to factory defaults and then reconfiguring it from scratch?
