Aspire E1 531 will not turn on

Hello, for the past hour I have been trying to turn my pc on but no matter what I do, I am unable to do so. It was working only two hours ago but shut off abruptley and I forgot about it. However when I got back to turn the computer on again, no matter how long I press the power button it will not turn on. Ive tried removing the battery and starting it while plugged in with no avail. I tried these steps

1. Remove the battery( removable)

2. Unplug the charger.

3. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

4. After 30 seconds connect the battery back and pulg the adpter.

5. Turn on the laptop.

but it still cannot turn on. I would appreciate any help I can get for this problem.

I have to add that there was a lightning storm here during the time the pc might have died

if you connect the AC charger, does any LED turns ON on your E1?

No led lights turn on when I plug it in Smiley Sad

you need to check if AC charger works, if you have a friend with a voltage tester give it a test.

I already tried using someone else's AC charger and still no lights turned on.

i think that only an official Acer repair service can handle this issue, i suspect some hardware problems on motherboard.
