SW5-012-11SK battery capacity lower than advertised?

First of all, I just want to say I'm extremely happy with my Acer Aspire Switch 10  SW5-012-11SK.

 

On the specs on the website, the battery capacity is listed as 5700 mah.  However, a similar model with only a slightly larger battery, 5910 mah, is rated for 8 hours.  Yet I'm lucky if I can get 4 hours of battery.

 

I ran "powercfg.exe /energy" and under battery information, my battery capacity is rated at 21660.  There are no units though, so I'm not sure how this compares.

 

I'm very happy with this product overall, but the battery is not lasting nearly as long as I was expecting.  I'm still within warranty, so before I go bothering Acer I wanted to make sure that this is normal and see if the community knows what might be going on.  I'm keeping my brightness low, and bluetooth off and really only using it for word processing and web browsing for research, so no flash junk or anything that might wipe out CPU.

hm. about battery laptop issue.

I've tried to find how i can save and extend my battery life on my laptop but been searching for years and has not found a good solution until this week !!!

 

If you want to have more then 4 hours battery on your Acer Asper Switch 10 as mine, then the magic word is: Settings on PowerOptions, belive me it's all there, of course there is alot of settings but try to change and fix and you will see a huge improvement in BatteryLife.

 

As i said my battery was always 4 hours, now with some changes in the Power-Options my battery last longer then 6 hours, which i am very happy with it
