Power on Acer C710-2487 that is connected to HDTV by using keyboard or mouse

Hi!  I am new to this forum and have what may be a crazy question.  I am wanting to know if there is a way to power on my Acer C710-2487 without having to manually push the power button on the Chromebook itself which sits across the room by my HDTV.  Can it be powered on by a keyboard shortcut or some other way using my mouse?  

 

I have a wireless keyboard and mouse that work very well with the Chromebook connected to the HDTV.  I know I can power off using my mouse so that isn't a problem.  Just wondered if there might be a way to power on without having to walk across the room.  Thanks for any help with this.

Thank you for your reply.  I may try using the sleep option and see what happens.
