I have a acer iconia w810.It will quite easily pair up with other devices using blue tooth. But when it begins to connect it simply fails. Will not connect and send or accept pictures from any bluetooth device.

Any ideas? please

    Hi Rossa,

To help get you an answer, I want to confirm what you've got. Is it a B1-810? I just want to make sure we're talking about a tablet with the Android operating system.

Other questions might be, what devices are you trying to connect? Are those able to pair with other devices?

Finally, it might be worth it to reset the device. This will remove any data and be like the first time you turned it in. Here are instructions that might help (I'm assuming this is a B1-810) http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/30957

    Hope this helps,
    Cory

I was thinking it might be a W3-810...

Rossa, what bluetooth devices are you connecting with? Windows can be a bit persnickety about what it connects to, and what you can do once connected. It works best when the bluetooth device is something like speakers, keyboard or mouse.

Hello Cory. Thanks for replying to my posting. The Acer tablet I have is a tab8 w1 810.I am trying to bluetooth photos from my samsung wave which operates on the old bada software. The phone will connect to other devices. It connects to my hands free in my van no problem. Also the tablet will not connect to any other android phones. It pairs with all bluetooth devices but will not connect.

Do you think it would make a difference if I reset the phone?

    Cheers
