Can't boot laptop

Hello,
I have an Acer Espire E40 and I have recently installed some sort of "PC Optimizer" it was working at first, removing useless files. However, I then noticed it removing system files. I killed the process and then rebooted my laptop. When I turn it on, the Acer logo is displayed along with 'starting automatic repair'. It proceeds to diagnose my PC and I am presented with the fact that windows can not start and I need to restore the OS. So I click restore but nothing happens, the Acer logo is displayed again but nothing is happening, its been like this for 10 minutes. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ethan.

if you press Alt+F10 at boot are you able to enter Acer erecovery?

if so, you probably have a restore or refresh options, try this.
