So i downloaded the os update from the acer site but when i install it the installation keeps aborting

    do you get any error message?

     

    have you checked that update is matching your build version?

    Yeah, that is usually a version mismatch or an issue with a rooted tablet.

    I entered my tablets snid number to be sure and i have a stock rom with no root the error says "no wipecache" or somethin

    There are a number of different 'stock roms', since they do different ones for each locale.

    on your tablet, check and report this:

     

    settings/about tablet, build number

     

    the last letters on build number must match the one to download:

     

    WWW_GEN1

    EMEA_CUS1 

    etc etc

    You first have to do the OTA KitKat update before you can do the second update, I think. Try this one first.

    Yep Billsey, he needs to do the OTA before the KitKat update.
