Why does every attempt I make to register my product fail?

I have been trying for over an hour to get my product registered.  The System information application is useless, because in the "Serial Number" box it says "To be filled in by O.E.M".  So it's not there.  The SNID is present, but it's rejected by the online application as not being the right number.

 

Frankly, I'm never going to buy another ACER product again, and recommend to all my friends never to, if this doesn't get resolved quickly.  There's no way to contact ACER on any of the forms about this problem.  This is pathetic customer service.  Is your CEO Carly Fiorina or something?

    Sorry we've created so much frustration for you. Were you successful in getting the product registered? If not, I'll provide some high level steps you can take, and maybe you can help me better understand where you're having problems.

     

    You can register your products at http://account.acer.com, this uses the same account as your Acer Community login, so you can just add the device to your account. It will help you keep track of information, get to some specific product FAQs and some other features quicker. This is currently being bolstered and should continue to improve it's overall usefulness for you in the long run.
