Bricked my W700. Help!

Ok, so I decided to upgrade the w700 to Windows 10.  Downloaded everything, said I needed to free up 5GB of space.  Nothing really on the computer but it only has 3.5gb avail for some reason.  So, I then decided to reset it back to factory condition.  Took me a while but I finally got it to boot the system disk on an external dvd.  Made it to the point where it said to insert Recovery Disk 1 (mine is just labled Recovery Disk).  Now it won't read the disk.  Checked it, no scratches, nothing appears wrong.  Put it in and it kicks it back out saying to put in Disk 1.  No way to exit without just shutting it down.  When I try to reboot back into windows, it tries to do automatic repair and then boots me back into an area where my only choice apparently is to restart the process again.  Tried choosing restore point, but for some reason I never set it up.

Only thing I can figure out is:

1.  I'm missing a Recovery Disk labled 1 of 2 instead of just plain old Recovery Disk

2.  Disk I have is corrupted or something

Any ideas?  Appreciate any help you can give me.

Its not bricked just stuck.I had the same issues with recovery and just started from fresh. Best advise I could give is get yourself a windows 8.1 or win 10 iso and start again. You should get it to boot from an external dvd or a usb stick. The only thing I'm not sure about is how you retrieve your cd key or if you need to.
