Store location will only record the GPS position where the pictures are taken.

it's strange that you don't have a settings about Storage.

have you checked on system settings/storage or system settings/memory

those are android settings, not camera application settings.

A101 has a micro USB port that let you connect to your PC via USB cable, if it's missing from your tablet box, you can buy it easily on a electronic shop. (not need the official Acer cable, so every microUSB to USB is ok)

First of all, you can set the Camera application to save pictures on microSD, instead of internal memory; this can be done in the Camera application settings or if missing, from system/storage and set as default storage the microSD.

The quickest way to copy pictures, is to copy the whole folder (since there will a lot of file to select), the folder is called DCIM and contains all your pictures.

so, search on the tablet applications, if a file manager is available or download one from google play, i can suggest you EStrongs file explorer; then you can select the folder doing a long press and then copy it to the microSD root (this means not copy the folder inside another folder).

or...you can connect your tablet to the PC via USB cable and browse tablet folders, copy/paste folders or file like you normally do on PC.

Dear Ironfly, I really appreciate you taking the time to respond, thank you. I will attempt to answer what you suggested, but remember, I hardly understand the technical language. First my camera settings has a "store location"setting which I switched to on, but it only has on/off, no choices as to where to store.

I attempted a search for google play which all resulted in an error message this browser is no longer supported and a referral to a site "if your device doesn't support google play, which I didn't really understand".

Don't think I have any connection to connect my tablet to the compuet..maybe I can buy one?

So thank you, but I am a slow learner and haven't progressed yet!! Smiley Happy

Heh although I didn't follow most of the instructions, I found my lead with USB, plugged into the computer..tablet said to sync to computer so I did and it downloaded all my photos! Wow I am amazed..if only I had found that lead earlier. I did put a microcard into the tablet which store said download photos to that, which I couldn't, then I found that was just for more space on tablet. So now I have them all on computer...thank you again so much for taking the time to res[pond.

    Kind regards
