Acer Aspire Bios VT enable

I would like to enable my Acer Aspire laptop for Virtualization Technology (i.e. VT).  As I have learned through searching the internet and on this community discussion board, many (perhaps all) of the Acer models have a crippled BIOS setup that does not allow for enabling VT technology.  This is despite the fact that many of the models' chips and CPU will support it.  Although this question has been asked several time on this discussion board, I do not see that either Acer or anyone in the community has answered this question satisfactorily.

How do I enable VT on my Acer Aspire Bios?

This appears to be such a common problem that there should either be 1. a method to enable VT on the BIOS or 2. an acknowledgement that Acer Bios is crippled for some strange reason and cannot be altered beyond the simplified setup screen that is provided.

Can VT be enabled on Acer Notebooks or not?  If so, how do I do it?

This appears to be such a  common question, ACER should answer this without requiring payment.

I am really annoyed.

    jgshep,

We have customers occasionally ask about this feature and have created an article on how to enable and disable that feature on their notebooks. Please review this article and see if that resolves your issue.
