I just bought an ACER VN7-571G , and while buying i read the specifications as 1TB hybrid HDD  +8GB SSD.

When i switched on the laptop, i cant see the SSD in my computer.

Only c:/ drive is shown.

What do i do?

    Hello,

You have probably a Segate SSHD. The integrated SSD is a cache module with algorithms (Adaptive Memory Technology).

"These algorithms, which form the basis of Adaptive Memory technology, were designed to change data priorities as different applications requested new data over time."

I advise you to do nothing otherwise ... big issue!

    Hello,

Normally you can't allocate/assign this SSD. It's like "a buffer memory" to increase the HDD performance (SSHD).
