2 yr old Aspire ONE 725 crashed. Did 'factory' recovery from partition. BUT can't get on internet--NO driver! Can't load from USB (if I get drivers to dnld) b/c NO USB. Unit has no DVD. Any solutions?? Or am I stuck with a $300 useless paperweight?

That's a bit strange, since USB must work even with microsoft basic drivers, maybe the restore process had some problem.

    please try to restore again.

Hi IronFly. Thank you for your help, but I stand corrected: The Acer Aspire One IS reading from my USB--but, I think the '5\2015' Realtek driver I dnlded is not copmpatible with my 2012 BIOS. But in any event, my recovery from partition is clearly screwed up and not loading Windows properly anyway. Tried at least twice. So now my Q is: how much does it cost to dnld Recovery MEDIA, ie on my usb, and, will that give me my 'restored to new with drivers' netbook back? Thanks.

    Acer recovery media
if you are in the US you can buy it:
    http://store.acer.com/store/aceramer/en_US/eRecovery

if you are outside the US, you must call/email your regional Acer support service:
    http://www.acer.com/worldwide/support/

this will bring your laptop back to factry default, also with windows drivers.
