Hi, for those suffering connection issues with the V15 nitro (otherwise an excellent laptop) here is an easy outpatient surgical option.  I purchased the 7260 ngw wireless card with bluetooth online ($35 or so) - the "next generation" form factor was important, the one with only one half-screwhole in the middle of the far end of the card from the plugin, and quite tiny compared to most other form factors.

NOTE- to avoid sending things back to a supplier, you may want to verify the look of the wireless adapter by even opening up your own computer (below), or googling one of the laptop reviews where they do a teardown and show you the adapter.  As of this writing the 7260 next gen card is the one on the right at the head of this website:

The disassembly instructions for the V15 nitro are quite easy, several youtube videos are available (make sure ALL screws unscrewed from bottom, then start at outside corners to pry up keyborard and touchpad panel, a very dull table (butter) knife works well, gentle! - but no components at those outside corners).  Plastic flexes just enough but if you encounter resistance stop and check for screws still in etc.

The card is very easy access and you can just rotate the keyboard/touchpad panel to get working room, so no need to detach the zero insertion force connectors which always scares me if I break a hinge on them.  Carefully pry off the 2antenna connectors with a small screwdriver and also care in reconnecting, they don't seem to snap on with a click or anything but they don't fall off after pressing with flat side of screwdriver.  Part of "next generation" is that these antenna plugs are ridiculously tiny, get then lined up....

Check that the back faux metal grill sections are snapped back together when re-assembling (And note faux metal, I thought that was stainless!)

The install took 20 minutes.

Download the Intel proset wireless driver previous or on another computer with a thumb drive to transfer (though the card detected automatically anyway).

My wireless is now far snappier and connects more reliably and with greater range.

Hope it helps, Steve
