There is definitely something wrong with the Acer XB270HU and using X-Rite iProfiler + i1Pro to calibrate it.

I hope Acer will dug into this, because calibrating the monitor with those is causing some major headaches: sleep mode doesn't work anymore, and we go into '''test mode alternating color patterns'' instead. Also, ACR is behaving strangely after the calibration and resets itself sometimes.

    Please fix this.

Or at least put a ''WARNING'' somewhere until the problem is solved, or Acer will get alot of RMA because of this, since even the tech I talked to on the phone thinks the monitor is ''faulty and must be RMAed''.

Were you able to successfully reset your monitor using either the button combination or the OSD reset option?

I lost 2 hours at home trying to fix this Smiley Sad but now I'm at work so I will be only able to try the ''factory reset'' later.

Using ''reset'' in the OSD is not working. I tried it without any result.

But there is too much people on the net reporting those EXACT problems with the XB270HU and X-Rite iProfiler +i1Pro. It's definetily an incompatibilty between those.

I just want to make sure I am on the same sheet as everyone here, but you are using a 3rd party software program to auto-calibrate the monitor and it is creating problems, right? Here is the software I've seen listed so far, I can ask about having the drivers updated (possibly) if you can make sure my list has the appropriate names so they understand what all is being used.

    X-Rite iProfiler

    i1Pro

Same problem here with XB271HK and the xrite i1 display pro + iprofiler.

The only way to workaround the problem is to disable the deep sleep on the monitor. This will prevent the monitor to forget the settings if you turn off the pc for more than 20 minutes but the problem remains if you remove current to the monitor. Please give us a fixed firmware.

I correct myself, the problem remains even by disabling the deep sleep.
No way to use the automatic calibration from XRITE products. What's a shame for a monitor like this.

Yo enter in service menu (have a factory reset option)   turn off monitor, hold the button 1 (left side) and press turn on button.

I sold the monitor years ago. You posted years too late, sorry. In case I didn't say it in the thread, I ended up RMAing it with acer and they fixed it, but I never again used my i1profiler in automatic mode again out of fear of it bricking/damaging the display like it did with the XB270HU.
