Formatting Acer Aspire One without deleting factory settings

Member Posts: 2 New User

My Aspire One is old, but the harddisk is exellent.

It was very slow, so I decided to use Alt F10, but It can't play the videos correct anymore.

This moment I want to install Linux Ubunto (from usb), but I don't want to miss the Alt F10-function.

How can I format the Acer without losing the Alf-F10 function?

    Frank56,

I would recommend creating the recovery media if you are planning on changing the operating system.

Where can I find the factory settings on my harddisk?

    Frank56,

There should be a program installed called Acer Recovery Management that will allow you to create your recovery media.
