XG270HU drivers cause color distortion.

When I install the official drivers for my new XG270HU monitor (version 1.0.0.0 from 12/12/2014), severe color distortion appears in all of my photos.  It also causes lots of green dots to appear all throughout the Firefox UI.

 

Reinstalling the Windows 7 Generic PnP Monitor drivers makes everything work fine again.  I've enclosed pictures of how each driver displays them.  Obviously, I prefer using the drivers specifically designed for my monitor, so is there a way to fix this?

 

 

I'm using:

Windows 7 - 64 bit

Acer XG270HU monitor

AMD Sapphire HD 7950 vapor-x video card (3gb GDDR)

 

This is the only problem with this monitor so far, but it's annoying having to un/reinstall the PnP drivers when I want to view/edit my pictures.

Still no new drivers eh?

 

I've had the same problem. But disabling the icc color profile that comes with the driver fixes it.
