Acer XB280HK: Gsync does not work

I have fairly bad screen tearing in almost every application, games, and videos. I have an Nvidia GTX 980, and in the nvidia control panel I made sure Gsync is on and is the global setting for every application.

I just tried Nvidia's Pendulum Gsync simulation, and it does not let me pick gsync at all. I repeat, the simulation does not let me pick gsync. Strangly enough, when vsync is turned on, there is still screen tearing.

Please, someone help.

    Hi AntonPhan,

There are a few things that have to be in place to get everything work. Specically, I'd make sure you're using a 1.2 Display Port directly from your GTX 980 and that you've set V Sync to G Sync in the global settings.

Here's an article that I believe will help. http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/35279
