A1-830 firmware MISSING from support site

Hello!

I have the Iconia A1-830 for few months now.

It came with original firmware AV052_A1-830_0.009.05_WW_GEN1

I was using the stock browser, the blue icon one. And it had preinstalled Dongle app for 3g usb modem.

I weas still searching for a compatible 3g usb modem.

I was happy with it, but sometimes touchscreen was unresponsive.

 

So i decided to click the OTA update. BIG MISTAKE!

It went to ...0.011.0_WW_GEN1, after that to ...0.014.0_WW_GEN1 - last jelly bean.

The stock browser was REMOVED.

So I continued updating to kitkat in hope to find the stock browser.

I was really shocked to find that in kitkat the Dongle app was REMOVED too.

 

I want to revert back to jelly bean for my favourite stock browser and dongle app.

On the site the support firmware and changelogs are MISSING!

This is most disturbing caming from a big company like Acer!

If any Acer employe is around, please post here the original firmware AV052_A1-830_0.009.05_WW_GEN1, or direct me where to download it from site.

Unfortunately, I believe the KitKat update changes the bootloader so you can no longer go back. Best would to be to look at the other browsers, I believe Chrome is now the default.
