I have same problem occuring time to time.
It is a laptop V5-561-6869 with Intel I5 chip. I tried the remedies as described above and hit various keys and closed and open the lid and sometimes it works. Sometimes I give up and it may start normally. I BELIEVE IT COULD BE THE FAULTY SWITCH OR THE MOTHERBOARD. Please provide any comments you have.
I BOUGHT THIS COMPUTER ON APRIL 15, 2015 FROM OFFICE MAX STORE IN HOUSTON AND HAVE ALL RECEIPT AND REGISTERED IT IN MAY AND ACTIVATED IT.
WHENEVER I CALLED ACER SUPPORT LAST MONTH THEY INDICATE THE WARRANTY EXPIRED IN FEBRUARY 2015 AND I ANNOT TALK WITH ANY LIVE PERSON AND CALL GETS TRANFERRED TO REPAIRS SHOP. FOR WARRANTY PROBLEM THEY ONLY RECOMMEND TO CONTACT ACER SUPPORT 1 866 695 2237 or CHAT. BUT ISTEAD MY NUMEROUS EFFORTS IT NOTHING WORKED. MY EFFORT TO SEND EMAIL TO ACER IS NOT WORKING AS IT IS NOT ACCEPING MY PURCHASE RECEIT COPY AS SAVED IN WORD IN MY COMPUTER. PLEASE ADVISE THE WAY TO COMMUNICATE WITH ACER.
