Bluetooth Connection Unsuccessful (Acer Aspire V5 to iPhone 5)

I've made many unsuccessful attempts to pair my Acer Aspire V5 to my Apple iPhone 5, but it constantly results in the following message on my iPhone 5:

"Connection Unsuccessful.  Make sure "ACER" is turned on and in range."

By the way, I simply named my Notebook, "ACER."  Interestingly, it's in all lowercase (acer) on my notebook, but my iPhone always refers to it in all upper case (ACER).

That said, I've dabbled with updating the Bluetooth Driver, looked at the BIOS, have acknowledged the pairing text/code on both my Acer and my iPhone, but nonetheless, they simply will not fully pair.

Any walk throughs on this?  I'm apparently out-of-warranty, so Acer will not provide any unpaid support for this issue, aside from me posting in this Acer Community, from what I can gather.

    Happy_Trails,

Which V5 are you talking about specifically so I can test one here possibly? Also, do you have any other BT devices that can be used to be tested with?

I know that iOS came out with an update recently (8.3), that might have fixed it if you haven't updated yet. Also, if you haven't, here is a link to Apple's troubleshooting for this issue.
