t272hl maximum resolution through vga

I have a T272HL screen and I can't connect it using HDMI since my laptop only has DVI or VGA.

While the monitor documentation says I should have a DVI, mine doesn't. With the vga connector i'm only able to get a resolution of 1920x1080 which is really bad considering how big this screen is.

what should be the maximum? Should I have a DVI connector on my screen? How can I get a bigger resolution?

thanks

    Hello,

The maximum resolution and refresh rate is 1920x1080 - 60Hz.

The inputs are VGA - DVI - HDMI - USB (1 up and 3 down).

    To confirm this:

Could you give me the first ten characters of the monitor serial number (S/N)? Only the first ten.

    Hello,

You are right. There is not DVI port on this model.

In my country, this model (UM.HT2EE.001) has a DVI port. Why? I don't know.
