My all in one keeps going to the screen that says reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected device and press a key. Why is coming up? I usually just turn it off then back on. I don't know what this means. Please help?

This message is displayed when the device does not detect any boot device. The BIOS (basic input/output system) is the program that computer uses to get the computer system started after you turn it on. It also manages data flow between the computer's operating system and attached devices such as the hard disk, video adapter, keyboard, mouse and printer.

The error message "select proper boot device or insert boot media" is displayed when the  system  is unable to find the boot sector on the hard disk to boot and load windows. This could also heppen when you nay any external devices like USB flash drive or external hard disk connected to it.

You may check the hard disk for errors, check in BIOS is the first boot device is set as hard disk in boot tab, you may also check by  reseating your hard disk,
