I had a problem with a program today, 3/10/2015, concerning play of a game. In session with tech also bought extended warrenty service for 2 years. Video playback from websites was working on and off at acceptable speeds for download, depending on website. Specifically MSNBC shows internet broadcast. After tech support when issue was resolved now download is greatly reduced and annoying circle pops up for buffering. Any way to increase video download? Need download a video accelerator?

One way to reduce video buffering time do it is to make sure no other computers in your network are using internet bandwidth, this means to make sure that when you are watching videos no other device should be downloading other stuff or everything will slow down. Make sure things like steam, bitorrent clients or download managers are closed.

Go to your browser's preferences and find the cache settings. Clear the cache, or increase the amount of space your browser can use to store information.

Another thing you can do to is reduce the quality of the video, many video streaming sites have this option such as youtube. It will take a much shorter time to buffer a 480p video which is standard resolution than to buffer a 1080p HD video since the 480p video consists of much less data per frame.

Another thing I recommend is to change your web browser specially if you are using Internet Explorer, try using Google Chrome, it's generally faster and more responsive. Also, uninstall any toolbars that might have been installed on your browser that you do not need by going to start>control panel> programs and features> uninstall a program.

Close down any non-essential Internet applications or websites. If you are downloading files, pause or stop them to free up bandwidth on your computer while you are watching video.

Check to see if there are programs running in the background that might be connecting to the Internet and causing buffering problems. Press "Ctrl-Shift-E" to open the Task Manager. Quit programs and processes that use the Internet or have a high CPU usage, as they can slow down video load times.

You can also use programs like  Enounce MySpeed  It’s a small app that monitors online videos. If the tool detects that it can adjust the video speed, it displays a small slider.

Click the Kudos kudos-thumbs-up.pngto say “Thanks” for helping! select "Accept Solution" if your issue is resovled.
