I need your help. I am using Acer aspire 5735. Laptop Problem: Auto Restart

Good day. I need your help.

 

I am using Acer aspire 5735, specs are: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6400 @2.00GHz, 2.00GHz. Before, its win7 professional, 32bit OS, 3Gb RAM. Because of the problem (Automatic Restart), I brought my laptop to the computer technician for formating and installation of a new OS just last October 2014, hoping that my laptop will be okay. After the reformat and installation, RAM is now 4.00GB (2.93 usable, changed the 1GB RAM to 2GB), 64 & 32 bit Win7 Ultimate OS. Btw, is it ok if my OS is 32 & 64 bit? Anyway, the problem is still there. I'm not sure if they really formatted it because the partition is still the same, the only difference is the drive C: with folder named "folder file" & "folder file (x86)". I guess they just installed a new OS without formatting the whole hard drive. I already tried cleaning the fan but the problem continues.

 

What I do now is wait for the windows to load comepletely until desktop is open then I immediately click any dj software (Serato, Traktor or VDJ) just to keep it from running. Yes, it won't restart as long as the dj software is running. If not, it will restart again and again until the OS loads completely. They say its a software or hardware problem or a virus or battery problem, etc. But the question is, why is it that it won't restart everytime the DJ software is running? What's with the dj software, why is it that it runs smoothly? Cause as far as I know, if the problem is hardware or software or battery/power problem, even if I opened the dj software, it will still automatically restart. If I quit/exit the dj software, then the laptop will immediately restart. 

 

My sister bought this laptop in UK, gave it to me last 2013 of February and autorestart starts to occur last May of 2014. I cleaned the fan when the problem first occur and it was running smoothly but then after 1 month, it came back. Until now.

 

What do you think? I badly need your help. I dj to support my studies & additional allowance everyday.

To answer a couple of your questions, there are only a couple reasons to have both a 32- and 64-bit operating system installed. One of which is an installed program is only compatible with a 32-bit operating system, but you'd have to boot into that operating system, they don't run at the same time. I doubt that's what is going on, but I just want to make sure you understand the process.

 

It does sound like it is having some sort of software iss ue that's causing it to autorestart. I know you use this sytem, but if it's been having this problem since May 2014 you need to make sure you have your data backed up and reload this system, that's a long way to do a system restore back to and there's so much stuff that's happened since then anyway.
