Hi,

I use a W4-821P Windows tablet. Few days ago I downloaded a battery level app from Windows store and tried install. The tablet is chrashed. Luckly I was able to recover.

But now every single time when I swith on or off my device the flash is flashing two-three times. Any idea why? Do you know how can stop it?

Thanks,

Timur

    TimurLenk,

It sounds like you might still be experiencing some application issues. I'm not sure what method you used to recover from the problem, but if you haven't tried a refresh to fix possible Windows file errors I'd start there.

Should you still experience the problem after that I would suggest a reset.

If you have a restore point set prior to installing the app, you could try that. Otherwise check the startup and programs and features to see if there is something that shouldn't be there.

ps I am not sure what you mean by "flash". I didn't think the W4 had one. My W3 doesn't.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your answer.

I mean the camera indicator light is flashing.

I checked the startup but I can't see any strange items there...

    Thanks,

    Hi Justin,

I reseted the tablet already. That was the first what I tried. I updated all drivers. I used a previous restore point to restore my device but... I don't know, everything is strange now. Sometimes I can't play videos or music files. Sometimes I loose sound. I need to restart if I would like use it. I don't understand.

    Thanks for your advise,

    TimurLenk,

It sounds like you did a system restore, which just rolls the computer back to a point in time. I would perform a refresh on your tablet to see if that resolves your problem, if not, a reset. This can be done using the Acer eRecovery Management software.
