    What is indicated when an Acer AL1917C will not turn on and the power button flashes Amber-Green-Off?

      Solid green means that the power is on. Solid Orange means that it is in power saving mode. If it flickers Orange, it means that the monitor is not detecting a signal. Check your cables to see if there is damage or a kink or something in the cable, or if you have a laptop, see if you can't see an image when you hook it up to that. If that does not work, if your monitor is still under warranty, I'd call tech support.
