Update with sd

I am trying to update through a sd cart and everytime I try I get this message

 

 

Finding update package...

Opening update package...

Verifying update pakage...

E: end of footer from /cache/slideload/package.zip not 0xFFFF (File exists)

E: signature verification failed

Installation aborted.

 

what is the problem? any help would be great

    you need to unzip the downloaded file and put that on the microSD.(you will find another .zip, this is the good one to copy to the microSD).

    I dont see another zip file inside! this is frustrating!

    could you tell me where to find the update for a a1-830?

    which build version is installed on your tablet?

     

    settings/about tablet/build version

    would it be Acer_AVOKO_A1-830_1.007.00_WW_GEN1

    The tablet tried to install it itself. any help would be great!

    can anyone point me in any direction where I can find a fix?

    You can't use the OTA update as SD update, the downloaded zip is encrypted.

    There isn't any downloadable update at the moment from the Acer support, so if you are under warranty, is better to call the Acer support.

    thank you so much, just cant believe because I pressed update I have to go through all this.

     

    Very disapointed with this product!

    it can happen on every device, probably something went wrong during the writing process.

     

    if under warranty give Acer support a call or check your private messages
