how do I turn off the screen on W4-820 without putting it to sleep ?

Whenever I press the power button, the tablet goes to sleep. I know this is happening because, in the power options> Power button settings > sleep is selected for 'on battery' and 'on power'

 

The question is how can I just turn off the screen without letting the tablet to go into deep sleep ? Its a big issue and really frustrating as it stops doing everything.. even pause copying data and pauses torrentz.

 

I also went into advanced settings under power options and tried to change the 'Turn off display after' settings, but whatever number I put there, the same becomes my 'sleep after' settings.

 

I do not know how to fix this. Can someone please help ? Thanks in advance !

If your tablet is shipped with windows 8.1, swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Settings, and then tap Change PC settings, Open PC settings and tap on PC & devices on the left side, tap on Power & Sleep on the left side of PC & devices. On the right side under Screen, select how long you want your PC inactive before your display turn off for when your PC is On battery and Plugged in, the sleep mode settings has  be set to never.
