Brand new AspireSwitch10 does not power on. No LED light. Worked once in wall plug. Any fix?

Unpacked new device, plugged into wall overnight to charge, but unable to see LED light as Quick Guide notes. While plugged into the wall, I was able to perform the setup and start to download Office 365. Do not know if it completed as screen went dark. Cannot restart. Does anyone know how to revive a dead device? If there are no suggestions, I will try to replace the power cord.

    try a long press of power button + volume down, this will enter bios, press F10, save and exit; then it will reboot to windows.

     

    by the way, no led light during charge is not a good thing, be sure that you fully plugged the AC jack on switch 10.

    Thank you for your advice. You were correct re. the poower cord. the plug consists of 2 pieces that twist together. They seemed to be connected but when I used a stronger twist it worked. I will also make a note of your start up suggestion since my viewing on other sites shows that "no startup" is common on this device.

     

    Kudos to you for sure and here's hoping you find employment - it's tough today.
