Display problems HDMI out

I have a Acer Aspire V15. When I plug my laptop to my 42" Panasonic the image displayed is zoomed in so I cannot see all the icons and toolbar on my TV. Any ideas how to fix this please?! Thanks

    I think ive managed it. Ive had to go into my graphic properties and chnge them when i hae it as project to second screen only and seems to work. Just means i can duplicate to do it in ratio as with my previos laptop Thanks

    You could try changing the the screen size on the TV under Picture Options, but you can't interact with the icons and toolbars on the TV, only on the laptop.

    I have tried changing all my options on my TV but it doesnt change anything. It cant be my TV options as i never had this problem on my old laptop. Smiley Frustrated
