How to add birthdays in phone contacts for Acer Liquid E700

I want to add birthdays in my phone contacts but I can't see the field to enter a birthday. I also need my contact birthdays reflected in calendar. Thanks in advance for your help!

You can do it only on gmail contacts using the web interface of gmail.

 

so you need a PC, browse to gmail, open contacts tab and edit each ome with birthday.

And there is no such field in the contact to add any suitable information. Really it's very strange that to add birthday to the phone contact we need gmail service.
