    if you laptops is an old model, can be the CMOS battery to change.

     

    you need to open the back of your laptop and change it.

    If both date and time are changing, then it is an issue with the CMOS battery and it needs to be replaced.

    Or else, you may try these steps.

    Click on Date and time option specified on the system tray. Select Change date and time settings option. Click on Internet time tab. Select Change settings. Check the option Synchronize with Internet time server and set the server as time.windows.com. Click on Update now. Save the changes done.
