T232HL - useless for pen writing because of lag/ cursor delay

I bought a T232HL touch screen hoping it was usable for teaching/lecturing when cloned to projector, but when trying this seems impossible because of a large delay in response of my writing. I'm using it with Win7 64b.

 

Typically when writing at normal speed the cursor lays approx 1 inch behind my pen/ finger. This makes it impossible to understand what is written.

Also when you draw a curved line at normals speed the recognized touch tends to cut the curve resulting in a shape different from the one I draw. If you write at REALLY slow speed the delay is not so problematic

 

My Q's:

- Is this behaviour normal for this schreen?

- Any way to rectify or minimize this delay? 

- Is there any software eliminating this problem?

I would suggest going through the calibration setup and check the Tablet PC Settings and Pen and Touch settings that should be found in the Control panel of your computer.
