Flash Acer Aspire 5732Z Series BIOS

Hello,

I was using my laptop, when all of a sudden it shut off. Now when I turn it on, the lights and fans run as normal but no screen is displayed. I plug a VGA monitor in, and it shows nothing, but it does put the screen in hibernate mode. After alot of research I am steering in the direction that the BIOS is corrupt. Now I have an inkling of how to do it (Download dos files, put on usb, boot laptop holding FN + ESC whilst USB is in the laptop and it should flash) but it is not working.

 

Can someone help me because I think I may be naming the files wrong. If someone can help me asap I will be very grateful because I need this laptop for work on Monday.
