sluggish freezing wireless mouse

Just bought Aspire AZ3-615 All-in-One. Very happy with computer, but wireless mouse and keyboard are problems. They work via dongle inserted into specific USB port on upper left of side casing. The mouse is very sluggish and freezes often. Keyboard misses typed letters and occasionally puts in multiples of a key with only one press. I am using a Microsoft wireless Keyboard/mouse combo via standard USB port and have NO problem with this. Anyone seen this? Any solution? I like the Acer kB/mouse design, but can't use it because of problems noted.

    phil7784,

Some of these models come with touch capabilities. If your model is one of them, make sure there is nothing touching the display, like stickers from out of the box or clear protective film or other items as this can interfere with the use of your keyboard and mouse.

If this is not the case, please try removing the wireless dongle and placing it into another USB port. Another suggestion would be to try a different set of batteries. If the problem persists, please feel free to contact our technical support for more assistance.

Thank you - you are correct that using a different USB port works. Unfortuanely this computer is very short on USB ports available, but I guess I can manage with a hub. Can the "dedicated" USB port where the dongle is normally supposed to go be used for anything?

Yes, it can work with other USB devices.
